  1. Kia Ora Melnina,

My name is Charlotte and I am a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. I really enjoyed reading your post about the food that you would take boating with you.

I noticed that you chose to take seaweed and cans of food because it lasts a long time! I think that this is a great idea. What is your favourite food? Did you include it on your list? Ice cream is my favourite food but I couldn’t take that to sea!

It is great to see you participating in the Summer Learning Journey but I think this may be an activity from the 2019-2020 blog. Could you please double check that you are looking at the 2020-2021 Summer Learning Journey activities, You can find it here.

I really liked reading your blog post about bringing 10 foods out to the sea, I liked how there were actual reasons to why you are taking these foods and I also like how most of the reasons are because of how long they last, though I wanted to know if you meant when it would get expired or how much you will have left, doesn´t that depend on how much you take?
I think that most of these last very long but if it was me I would not care about it because most stuff that last long are not my liking's, I would not take much vegetables too.
What is your favourite food out of all of these? Mine would definitely be potatoes.
Did you get the information of how long they last from google or is it just something you know? Maybe next time repeat the same things in the texts by that I mean on some of them you have full-stops and on some you do not. You have done a great job, keep it up!
